ASTM Infant Bedding SubCommittee recommendation:
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF SUFFOCATION, KEEP TOP OF LINER UP AND IN POSITION. DO NOT ALLOW TO SAG DOWN OR IN TOWARD THE SLEEPING SURFACE. DO NOT USE IF SAGGING CANNOT BE CORRECTED.
TO PREVENT ENTANGLEMENT OR STRANGULATION, POSITION TIES TO OUTSIDE OF CRIB AND BE SURE THEY ARE SECURE.
REMOVE LINER WHEN CHILD CAN SIT UP UNAIDED OR CAN PULL TO A STANDING POSITION.
Your 4-piece liner accommodates different style cribs. For each liner segment, if all ties on that segment cannot be securely attached to the crib DO NOT USE the liner segment. For use only in a full-size standard crib with interior dimensions of 28" x 52".
Instructions to install:
- Remove the 4 liner sections from package and place them in the crib as you prepare to secure them in place. Make sure that they can be securely tied at all points. If your crib has any solid side panels do not use the bumper section on that side, as there is no way to secure it to the crib.
- Beginning at a corner of the crib, securely tie all of the liner ties around the rails and posts. Be sure to tie both the top and the bottom ties. Make a knot with each set of ties for a steadier/safer liner placement in your baby's crib.
- Check to make sure the newly installed crib liner is securely in place and will not be pulled away. Check periodically to ensure that it has not loosened.
- Use the liner only until your baby can pull up to a standing position. Then remove all of the liner sections so your baby cannot use the liner to stand on and climb out of the crib.
